Does The La Cañada AM Club RelateTo Kiwanis International?
The La
Cañada AM Kiwanis Club was charted in January of 1993
and is one of 12 clubs in Division 3 which encompasses the
area from Sunland to Hollywood, including Glendale and Northeast
Los Angeles. It is one of 44 divisions in the California-Nevada-Hawaii
District, the largest in Kiwanis International.

How
Does One Join?
Sponsored
by a present Kiwanian, you will visit the club three times
and will be given a brief background of Kiwanis and our club
by the Membership Committee. Your application will then be
submitted to the Board of Directors for approval.
What
Is Expected of A Member?
* Regular
attendance at club meetings with a goal of 100% and a minimum
of 60%
* Willingness to serve the community,
* Support for the Objectives of Kiwanis,
* Ability to meet financial obligations,
* Commitment of time for club projects,
* Service on assigned committee.
When
And Where Are The Meetings?
Meetings
are held each Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 AM at the Lutheran
Church in the Foothills located at 1700 Foothill Blvd. in
La Cañada, CA 91011
What
Does It Cost?
* Initiation
Fee: $75.-
* Monthly
Dues: $13.- payable quarterly
* Optional Breakfast: $1
Fines are not assessed.
Fund-Raisers, which support our charitable projects, are voluntary.
